Family workshops (PL)

Photo-Stories

23.06 (Saturday), 12.00
Bunkier Sztuki Gallery of Contemporary Art
Led by: Filip Rybkowski

Age: 7–13 (with guardians)

During the workshops, we will jointly look at photography as a historiographer. By studying the history of photographic image manipulation – from framing, erasing, photo retouching to collage – we will try to answer the question whether photography can be objective. Does each of us see and interpret images in the same way? How does knowing the context of a photograph influence its interpretation? By using copies of archival photographs and the artistic techniques we will learn, we will try to tell our own stories of the people shown in the photographs, producing an original zin at the end of the workshops.

The number of places is limited. Please register to participate. Registration will be possible until Friday, 1.06, 16.00. To receive more information and register, please contact Gabriela Brdej at: brdej@bunkier.art.pl
